Two Taholah players named Coastal League MVPs

Taholah players swept Most Valuable Player honors on the all-Coastal League basketball teams released this week.

Chitwhin junior guard Ronnie Tadios-Tahkeal repeated as the league’s boys MVP.

Classmate Laura James, also a guard, received the girls Most Valuable Player award.

North River’s Sean Pierson was chosen by his peers as the league’s Coach of the Year. Tim Diggle of league champion Mary M. Knight received a similar honor for the boys.

North River’s boys and girls also swept the team Sportsmanship Awards.
