Former Grays Harbor resident Vontè Julian Mora, 19, of Fort Myers, Fla., died Dec. 2, 2017, in Fort Myers, Fla.

Memorial Mass will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 16, 2017, at St. Cecilia Catholic Church, followed by a gathering at Around the Clock Fitness on Boy Scout Drive to enjoy his favorite donuts.

Vontè was born March 6, 1998, in Fort Myers, Fla. He was a student and personal trainer at Around the Clock Fitness. He had great aspirations of getting to med school to become an anesthesiologist and also wanted to start working toward his MBA on the way.

He was a member of St. Cecilia Catholic Church and a graduate of Bishop Verot High School class of 2016. He was a motorcycle and car enthusiast and helped form the 239 Car Club. He was also an avid weightlifter, enjoyed hunting, fishing and had a tremendous love for dogs.

Surviving are his parents, Charles and Lourdes Privett of Montesano, Wash.; grandmother, Lourdes Mora-Shay (Jeff Shay) of Fort Myers, Fla.; great-grandmother, Maria Mora of Bonita Springs; siblings, twin sisters Anna and Kassidy Privett Schoch and brother Cohen Stewart and Julianna his half-sister whom he had never had a chance to meet.

There will be a Bank of America Vontè Mora memorial fund and a Vontè Julian Mora memorial fund on GoFundMe to help with memorial costs and to set up a fitness trainer scholarship program to continue his legacy. Bracelets will Also Be available from Around the Clock fitness for purchase with Vontè’s motto on it “time is valuable; be healthy enough to enjoy it”. The gym will be matching all donations.

The Fort Myers Memorial Gardens Funeral Home has been entrusted with the care of Vonte.
