Steven John Gallington, age 58, a resident of Aberdeen, died on Thursday, February 14, 2019, at Grays Harbor Community Hospital. Steve was born on in Aberdeen on January 25, 1961 to Virgil E. and Jan B. (Linklater) Gallington. He was raised in Hoquiam and attended Washington Grade School, Hoquiam Jr. High School and Hoquiam High School.

Growing up, he enjoyed playing baseball. His hobbies were camping, fishing, clam digging and watching the Seattle Seahawks and Mariners.

He had been employed at Grays Harbor Veneer.

Surviving relatives include his mother Jan Gallington of Aberdeen; a daughter Danielle Rose of Longview, WA; three brothers, Ray of Montesano, Dan of Seal Rock, Oregon and Ed of Montesano and two grandchildren, Kylie and Brandson.

There will be no formal funeral service.

Cremation arrangements are by the Coleman Mortuary in Hoquiam.
