Roxianna (Roxie) Marie Kallenbach was born on Jan. 9, 1956, in Columbus, Neb. to Glen R. Kallenbach Sr. and Barbara A. (Pauls) Giese.

Roxianna “Roxie” Marie Kallenbach was born on Jan. 9, 1956, in Columbus, Neb., to Glen R. Kallenbach Sr. and Barbara A. (Pauls) Giese. She died on June 8, 2018, at her home in Aberdeen, Wash.

She spent her early years in Columbus before moving with her family to Denver, Colo., at the age of 7. She attended the Ridge State Training School in Denver, Colo. Besides getting her education there, she loved helping other clients who needed help. When she was 19, she moved to Washington with her mother. Roxie had worked at Timberland Opportunities in Aberdeen.

Roxie was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Aberdeen. She enjoyed going to church on Sundays. She enjoyed doing crafts, playing cards, fishing, going on picnics, watching airplanes, traveling looking at trees and boats, and visiting family.

Surviving relatives include her mother, Barbara Giese of Hoquiam; step-father, Robert Giese of Hoquiam; brothers, Glen Kallenbach of Littleton, Colo., Randy Kallenbach of Connell, Wash., Rex Kallenbach of Evans, Colo. and Clinton Kallenbach of Commerce City, Colo. She is also survived by her step-sisters, Cherri Simon of Spokane, Wash., Cindy Lewis of Auburn, Wash., Bonnie Boyer of Lake Tapps, Wash., Connie Younts of Pleasanthill, Mo. and Bobbie Berg of Wilkenson, Wash. The extended family includes many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her father, Glen Kallenbach Sr.

The family suggests that donations be made to the First united Methodist Church of Aberdeen, 100 E. 2nd Street, Aberdeen, WA 98520.

A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. on Friday, June 15, 2018, at the First United Methodist Church of Aberdeen. An urn committal service will follow at Hoquiam’s Sunset Memorial Park.
