Ronald Delbert Runyon, 61, a lifetime Raymond resident passed away Friday, Oct. 20, 2017, at Providence St. Peters Hospital in Olympia.

Ronald Delbert Runyon, 61, a lifetime Raymond resident passed away Friday, Oct. 20, 2017, at Providence St. Peters Hospital in Olympia. He was born Jan. 20, 1956, to Bud and Betty Jean (Kreager) Runyon in Raymond.

He enjoyed his career of being a dump truck driver where he started for his grandparents at H.G. Runyon Construction at an early age. Later he went to work for his parents at B&B trucking. For many years he had his own company which he was contracted through weyerhauser. He most recently was employed by John J. Karnis Construction.

When he wasn’t fishing he enjoyed gardening, watching the Seahawks and Nascar. He married Pamela Bean on Friday, April 13, 1990, in Reno Nev.

He is survived by a daughter Tami Beckett of Raymond, a brother Greg Runyon of Raymond, three grandsons Caleb, Austin, and Seth Goodin of Raymond and two nephews Kyle and Brandon Runyon. Also his two dogs Buffy and Gabby.

A celebration of life will be held at the Raymond Elks at 12 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 18, 2017.
