Richard “Dick” David Klovas, 83, passed away peacefully at home on Sept. 10, 2018.

He is survived by his daughters Debra (Klovas) Olson and Nancy Plocher, both of Hoquiam, and many nieces and nephews.

Richard “Dick” loved, fishing, shrimping and crabbing. He owned a logging company from 1968 – 1982; in which he taught his three nephews, David Dahl, James Klovas and Keith Dahl, the logging business and equipment operations. He also had a log trucking business on and off for many years and his wife, Betty was always by his side. She passed in 2017, they are together once again.
