Patricia Dolores “Pat” Rabey, 80 years of age and a longtime Harborite, died on Thursday, Jan. 3, 2019, at her home in Hoquiam, Washington.

Patricia Dolores “Pat” Rabey, 80 years of age and a longtime Harborite, died on Thursday, Jan. 3, 2019, at her home in Hoquiam, Washington. She was born on March 3, 1938, in Castle Rock, Washington to Gayl and Geneva (Boogaard) Haney. She was a devoted catholic.

She was married to David L. Rabey. He preceded her in death in 2002. Pat owned, operated and oversaw the Pat Rabey Trucking Company in Hoquiam. She was very involved in many aspects of the community and enjoyed spending time with her family.

She enjoyed sewing, camping, clam digging, yard work and working in her garden. Pat enjoyed traveling, having gone to China, Turkey, taken a European tour, the Panama Canal and had visited almost every state in the union.

Patricia is survived by two sons, Patrick (Jolene) Rabey of Elma, Washington and Mark (Teresa) Rabey of Montesano, Washington; one daughter, Gaylynn (Mike) Little of Mossyrock, Washington, eight grandchildren, Brandon Little, Matthew Little, Zachery Little, William Rabey, Nolan Rabey, Jeffrey Kerr, Trisha (Derek) McDougall and Tyler (Jessica) Rabey; four great- grandchildren, Trey, Maci, Carter and Archer; two sisters, Betty Reilly of Longview and Judy Fridley of Eureka, California; one brother, Robert Ball of Sacramento, California; her foster family, Katherine Gleason, Betty Robinson, Jimmy Marthaller, Phillip Marthaller, Mary Lou Kuehn, Ray Marthaller, Michael Marthaller, Francis Marthaller and other relatives. She was also preceded in death by a sister, Noni Cassidy Marty in 2001 and a son, David Rabey Jr. who died in 2003.

A celebration of her life will be held later.

Arrangements are by the Coleman Mortuary, 422 – 5th Street in Hoquiam, Washington.
