Norman Michael Samplawski, a longtime Raymond resident died Wednesday, Nov. 22, 2017, at his home; he was 76.

Norman Michael Samplawski, a longtime Raymond resident died Wednesday, Nov. 22, 2017, at his home; he was 76. Norm was born Jan. 4, 1941, in Stanley, Wis. to Norman Lyle and Genevieve (Stangret) Samplawski.

He was a retired Postman, he had also worked for the City of Coupeville were he also retired. Norm married Carol Spitale June 29, 2002, in Coupeville, Wash., together they moved to the Raymond area in 2004. Norm worked locally at Tombstone Willey’s for a short time.

He enjoyed the outdoors, hunting, fishing and had a love for baseball.

Norm is survived by his wife, Carol of the family home in Raymond; by a Son Ryan Samplawski of Coupeville and a Daughter Jorie (Tj) Allen and her daughters Brooke and Ciandra of Coupeville; by a sister Cheryl (Terry) Samplawski Fuller and her sons, Shawn Fuller and Eric (Ashly) Fuller, their children Lylee, Zoe, Moses and Ivy. He is also survived by three nephews, Rick (Rhonda) Samplawski and their son Alek, James Samplawski and his children Vanessa and Marq and Keith Samplawskiand and by his beloved dog, Sailor. Norm was preceded in death by his parents and a brother Richard Samplawski.
