Mickey Hoyer Jaderlund passed away in her Hoquiam home on Monday, Nov. 20, 2017.

Mickey Hoyer Jaderlund passed away in her Hoquiam home on Monday, Nov. 20, 2017. She was 76. Mickey was born on Aug. 26, 1941 in Tacoma, Wash. to parents James and Esther (Roberts) Hoyer. She graduated from Franklin Pierce High School in 1959.

Mickey worked as a Certified Nurse’s Assistant at St. Joseph’s from 1977 to 2010.

True to her namesake, she loved Mickey Mouse. She also enjoyed going to the casino, bowling, crocheting, manicures, and going on walks with her grandson, Justin.

In 1960 Mickey married Ellis Robert. They later divorced and she then remarried in 1974 and spent many loving years with her husband, Carl O. Jaderlund, until his passing.

Mickey is survived by her sons James Roberts of Monroe, David (Vicki) Roberts of Aberdeen, Douglas Roberts of Eatonville, Scott Roberts of Hoquiam, Lee (Deena) Jaderlund of Tacoma, and Lenard (Daisy) Jaderlund of Virgina; daughters Esther DeWald Christine Wyeth of Hoquiam, and Lana Kay Sweaneny of Tacoma; 25 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and her Chihuahua’s Chalupa, Tia, and Mika . Mickey was preceded in death by her parents, James and Esther Hoyer, and her brothers Jack and Robert Hoyer. Always young at heart, Mickey will be forever missed.

A remembrance will take place at 1 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 24, 2017, at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 2735 Riverview Dr, Aberdeen.
