It is of great sadness that we announce the passing of “Grandma Judy as she was known to all that loved her.

It is of great sadness that we announce the passing of “Grandma Judy as she was known to all that loved her. Judy Alan (Watson) Waldron left this world peacefully at her home in Westport, Wash., on Oct 8, 2017, age 71.

Judy was born on Oct. 12, 1945 in Tacoma, Wash., to James Allen Watson Sr. and Roberta Ruth Ball. She entered the workforce at a young age working in the canneries, nursing homes, as a taxi driver and several other fields. Her most rewarding job was an in-home caregiver before retiring.

Judy loved music, camping, river rafting, playing games with the family, and “any vacation” spot you can think of. She spent countless hours at the beach reading, clam digging and bonfires. Her time and energy was devoted to helping others.

Judy is preceded in death by her parents and will be sadly missed by her daughters, Victoria (Adam) Allen, Julie Allen and Robin Koeller. She will be forever remembered by her grandkids, Bobby (Maggie) Godfrey, Cassondra Godfrey, Keneth (Stephanie) Kropp, Alta Mathes, Kyle Mathes, Billy Wiley, Melissa Sanders, Jason Sanders, Chase Koeller and many many great-grandkids. She is survived and cherished by her siblings, Ruth (Pep) Stratton, Dee Watson, Jackie (Dennis) Angermeir, Donald (Sandra) Watson, Paula Newland, James (Sherri) Watson Jr., Jodi Glasgow, Terry Ball, Danny (Sheila) Ball and Robert (Jenny) Stovner.

There will be a Celebration of Life at the Willapa Harbor Grange in North Cove at 2 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 4.
