Longtime Westport resident Joyce Anne Benham passed away on Saturday, March 9, 2019, at Montesano Health and Rehabilitation Center. She was 84. Joyce was born Nov. 17, 1934, in Hartford, Connecticut, to Henry and Constance (Bower) Provencher. She was raised in Santa Monica, California.

On Feb. 7, 1953, Joyce married John Lloyd Benham in Santa Monica, California. John passed away on April 2, 2012. They moved to Grays Harbor in 1971.

Joyce is survived by her daughter Debbie Fountain of Westport, Wash.; son, John Benham of Ocosta, Wash.; four granddaughters, Kathy Fletcher, Amber Fountain, Sara Cagle and Stephanie Rudolph; and 10 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by three brothers, one sister and granddaughter Amy Benham.

A celebration of life is planned for 3 p.m. Sunday, April 7, at the Ocosta Rec Hall. Please dress casual and wear bright clothing.
