Jonette Brulotte, 66, Elma resident and homemaker, died Monday, October 29, 2018, at Summit Pacific Medical Center in Elma, Wash.

Jonette was born on July 27, 1952, in Brigham City, Utah, to Lytle Wendell and Betty (Rasmussen) Didericksen. She grew up in Tremonton, Utah, and graduated from Bear River High School in 1970. She then attended Utah State University in Logan, Utah. She went to work for the U.S. Forest Service in 1975 in Randle, Wash., and worked there for three years.

On March 5, 1977, Jonette married George Edward Brulotte in Tremonton, Utah. He lives at the family home in Elma.

In 1978, she decided to quit the Forest Service and raise her family and spoil them. They remained in Morton, Wash., until 1986 and then they moved to Coos Bay, Ore. They remained there until 1991 when they moved to Chehalis, Wash., for the next 11 years. They would move to Esko, Minn., in 2002 and then to Lewiston, Idaho, in 2004. They lastly moved to Elma, Wash., in 2007 where they remained to this day.

Jonette was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Elma. She enjoyed gardening, sewing, baking cookies and rolls, reading, spoiling her children and grandchildren, serving others and making meals.

Jonette is survived by her husband of 41 years, George Edward Brulotte of Elma, Wash; sons Jackson Edward Brulotte of Elma, Wash. and Benjamin Lytle Brulotte of Salt Lake City, Utah; daughters Jessica Shannon (Jared) Bolles of Spokane, Wash., Natalie Rose Brulotte of Coeur d’Alene, Idaho, Vanessa Jane Brulotte of Vineyard, Utah and Johanna Lynn Brulotte of Bothell, Wash; grandchildren Evelyn, Benjamin, Matthew, Annie, Levi and Claire; her mother, Betty Lou Didericksen of Grantsville, Utah; brothers Rick (Paula) Didericksen of Lindon, Utah and Shane Didericksen of Grantsville, Utah; sister, Shannon (Clark) Ellis of Tremonton, Utah.

There will be a time of visitation on Saturday, Nov. 3, from 1 p.m. to 1:45 p.m. at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Elma. The funeral service will start at 2 p.m. in the church followed by a meal. Burial will take place at Fairmount Memorial Park, Spokane, at a later date.
