John R. (Jack) Couper went home to be with the Lord on March 17, 2019, following a short illness.

John R. (Jack) Couper went home to be with the Lord on March 17, 2019, following a short illness. Jack was born Nov. 20 1934, in Okanogan, Washington to Evelyn and Dwight Couper.

Jack grew up in Eastern Washington and relocated to Aberdeen in the mid 60s and worked for Timberland Opportunities, building picnic tables for a number of years.

Jack is survived by his brother Robert D. (Bob) Couper of Puyallup, Washington, and a large number of cousins, nieces and nephews and his many friends in Aberdeen and the Aberdeen Manor where he lived most of his adult life. He was preceded in death by his sister Rita and his parents.

A memorial service is planned to celebrate his life Saturday, May 11, 2019, at 1 p.m. on the second floor of the Aberdeen Manor, 505 N “F” Street.
