Gloria Joan Plath passed away at her Aberdeen home on Jan. 31, 2018. Gloria was born on Feb. 9, 1940, in Grand Forks, N.D. to Edgar and Ethel Falos. She was the youngest of four children and had her older brothers, Donald, Robert and Edgar Jr. to watch over her as she grew up. Gloria graduated from Grand Forks High School with the class of 1958.

It was in January of 1963 Gloria moved to Aberdeen, Wash. with then husband Ernest D. Plath. Together they had two daughters. Gloria began working in daycare in the early 80s until she retired in 2015. She touched many lives and gave her all during her years of caring for so many children.

Gloria is survived by her daughters Valerie McAfee and Andrea (John) Harris; brother Robert (Carlene) Falos; and grandchildren Stacy Fowler and Blake Harris.

At Gloria’s request no formal services will be held. Memorials in Gloria’s name suggested to PAWS of Grays Harbor, PO Box 451, Aberdeen, WA.
