Obituary

George Steven “Red Bull” Beck, 63 years of age and a longtime Harborite, died on Friday, Jan. 13, 2017, at Grays Harbor Community Hospital in Aberdeen, Wash., following an extended illness. He was born on Nov. 5, 1953, in Seattle to Glenn William and Ruth Elizabeth (Streater) Beck.

He spent his early years in Quinault, Wash., attending school in Quinault and Granger, Utah.

He had worked as a shake block cutter, worked in restaurants and managed apartment buildings.

He enjoyed riding and working on his Harley Davidson Motorcycle, was an avid pool player, drawing and glass etching.

George Steven Beck is survived by his mother, Ruth Elizabeth Tarbox of Hoquiam; two daughters, Christie Leigh Beck of Montana and Elizabeth Miner of Puyallup; a sister, Glennis Stamon (Mike) of Hoquiam and other relatives.

A celebration of his life will be held at a later date.

Cremation arrangements are by the Coleman Mortuary, 422 – 5th Street, Hoquiam, WA 98550.
