Zackery Miller

A potluck memorial service for Grays Harbor resident Zackery Austin Miller, who died Feb. 8 in Spokane, will be held from 1 to 4 p.m. Saturday, April 1, at the Hoquiam VFW.

Memorial donations may be made to the Miller Memorial Account at Newrizons Credit Union.

Gerald Hood

Gerald L. Hood, a lifetime resident of Aberdeen, died Thursday, Feb. 23, 2017, at Grays Harbor Community Hospital, Aberdeen. He was 83.

He served in the U.S. Navy and the Merchant Marine and held a master captain’s license, delivering ships to ports throughout the world.

Private inurnment will take place in Fern Hill Cemetery in Aberdeen.

Arrangements are by Twibell’s Fern Hill Funeral Home, Aberdeen.

John M. Sailto Sr.

OLYMPIA — John Morton Sailto Sr., a longtime resident of Taholah, died Wednesday, Feb. 22, 2017, at Providence St. Peter Hospital in Olympia. He was 75.

Visitation will be at the Coleman Mortuary on Saturday, from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. and Sunday, from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.

A funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Monday at the Neah Bay Assembly of God Church. Interment will be at the Neah Bay Cemetery. A dinner will follow at the Neah Bay Community Center.

Arrangements are by the Colman Mortuary in Hoquiam.
