Evelyn M. Banning

OLYMPIA — Evelyn Mae Banning, a longtime Harborite, died Thursday, Aug. 22, 2019, at Providence Saint Peter Hospital in Olympia. She was 80.

She had been employed as a health care facilitator in area nursing facilities.

There will be no formal funeral services.

Arrangements are by the Coleman Mortuary in Hoquiam.

Christian Penn

SEATTLE — Christian Penn of Aberdeen died Thursday, Aug. 22, 2019, at Virginia Mason Medical Center in Seattle. He was 60.

He worked as a commercial fisherman before moving to Aberdeen 20 years ago.

He had been an enrolled member of the Quinault Indian Nation.

Visitation will be held from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 31, at the Coleman Mortuary in Hoquiam.
