ELMA — Hoquiam resident Georgia M. Erickson died Monday, Aug. 5, 2019, in Elma. She was 88.

A service will be held at 3 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 18, at New Beginnings Church in Aberdeen.

Clark A. Philbrick

MONTESANO — Aberdeen resident Clark Allen Philbrick died Saturday, Aug. 10, 2019, in Montesano. He was 82.

He had been a teacher in Montesano and Hoquiam.

At his request, there will be no formal services.

Arrangements are by Harrison Family Mortuary.

Beverley A. Howard

SEATTLE — Beverley Ann Howard, a longtime North Beach area resident, died Thursday, Aug. 8, 2019, at Swedish Hospital Cherry Hill Campus in Seattle. She was 76 and an enrolled member of the Quinault Indian Nation.

She had as a tree planter, fish clipper, clam digger in the North Beach and Alaska areas, an office clerk, cleaned the shake mill at Taholah and was a commercial fisherman on the Humptulips River.

A funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, Aug. 16, at the Coleman Mortuary Chapel in Hoquiam. Concluding service with vault interment will follow in the Sunset Memorial Park in Hoquiam.

A gathering for family and friends will follow the services.

Shane Hammer

A celebration of life for Aberdeen resident Shane A. Hammer, who died Aug. 7, at Grays Harbor Community Hospital will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 17, at Amazing Grace Lutheran Church in Aberdeen.

Arrangements are by Harrison Family Mortuary of Aberdeen.

Patricia Tow

TACOMA — Patricia L. Tow, longtime resident of Westport area, died at Providence St. Joseph Hospital in Tacoma, Monday, Aug. 5, 2019. She was 76.

She had served as the city administrator of the City of Westport.

A memorial service is being planned and will be announced later in the Daily World.
