A celebration of life potluck for John T. McDonald, who died March 12, will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, March 30, at the Elma Eagles.

PUYALLUP — William “Bill” Merrill died after a brief illness on Sunday March 17 2019, at Good Samaritan Hospital in Puyallup at the age of 70.
He graduated from Weatherwax High School in 1967 and had worked at Rayonier, Lamb Grays Harbor and the Pacific Rim Log Scaling Bureau.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
Arrangements are by the Coleman Mortuary in Hoquiam.

RAYMOND — Betty June Hoffer died Tuesday, March 19, 2019, at her home in Raymond. She was 93.
There are no services planned at this time.

VANCOUVER, Wash, — Verlina B. Whitcomb died Monday, March 18, 2019 in Vancouver. She was 99.
She was born in Willapa, Washington. A memorial will be planned at a later date.

Aberdeen resident James William Neiworth died Wednesday, March 20, 2019, at Grays Harbor Community Hospital in Aberdeen. He was 83.
He had worked in quality control at Harbor Plywood and Evans Plywood.
Visitation will be from 1 to 8 p.m. Thursday, March 28 at Fern Hill Funeral Home in Aberdeen. A funeral Mass will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, March 29, at St. Mary Catholic Church in Aberdeen with a reception to follow in the Parish Hall.
Steve Sidor
Rural Montesano resident Steve Sidor died after a short battle with cancer.
There will be no funeral at his request. There will be a celebration of his life at a later date.

NEWPORT — Harvey Leo Drake, longtime Pacific County resident, died Tuesday, March 19, 2019, in Newport. He was 92.
A celebration of his life will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, April 19, at Lebam Community Church.
Edith R. Wilson
Edith Rozmaryn Wilson, a lifetime resident of Grays Harbor, died Wednesday, March 20, 2019, at Grays Harbor Health and Rehabilitation Center, Aberdeen. She was 97.
She was a sales clerk at Sears and JC Penney for many years.
Visitation will be held beginning at 9 a.m. Tuesday, March 26, in the chapel at Fern Hill Funeral Home in Aberdeen followed by a graveside service at 1 p.m. at Fern Hill Cemetery in Aberdeen, then a reception at the funeral home.
