Evelyn I. Watkins

Evelyn Irene Watkins of Hoquiam died Tuesday, Feb. 12, 2019, at Grays Harbor Community Hospital in Aberdeen. She was 100.

Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Friday, Feb. 22, in the chapel of Harrison Family Mortuary in Aberdeen. A memorial service will take place at 1 p.m. Saturday Feb. 23, at Central Park United Methodist Church. She will be laid to rest at Fern Hill Cemetery in Aberdeen.

Arrangements are by Harrison Family Mortuary.

Rodney Vandervaart

LONGVIEW — Rodney VanderVaart of Ocean Shores died Tuesday, Feb. 12, 2019, at St. John Medical Center in Longview. He was 70.

Arrangements are by McComb & Wagner Family Funeral Home in Shelton.

Ralph Swalley

OLYMPIA — Ralph Swalley, a resident of Ocean Shores for 13 years, died Nov. 16, 2018, in Olympia. He was 69.

He had been a pastor, teacher and author for over 30 years.

A memorial was held at the Ocean Shores bakery.
