A celebration of life and potluck for Elma resident Mike “Mic” Mulligan, who died June 17, in Elma, will be held at 1 p.m. Sunday at the Elma Eagles.

Kenneth D. Brown Sr.

SEATTLE — Kenneth Delbert Brown Sr., a resident of Oakville, died Sunday, Aug. 12, 2018, at University Medical Center in Seattle. He was 77.

He had worked as a logger, was president of SITE Construction and retired from Weyerhaeuser in 2007 after over 20 years with the company. He had been a volunteer fire fighter with the Oakville Fire Department for 20 years.

A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, at the Chehalis Tribal Community Center in Oakville. Interment will follow at the Benn Cemetery in Oakville. A dinner will follow at the Community Center.

Direction is by Coleman Mortuary in Hoquiam.

A celebration of life for longtime Hoquiam resident Judi Lynn Brooks, who died July 8, 2018, in Hoquiam, will be held at 1 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 26, at the Hoquiam Elks.

SOUTH BEND — Janet Catherine McBride King, a resident of Bay Center died Tuesday, Aug. 7, 2018, at Willapa Harbor Hospital in South Bend. She was 78.

SURPRISE, ARIZ. — Sigrid Karen Strozyk, former Centralia resident, died Friday, Aug. 10, 2018, in Surprise, Ariz. She was 82.

Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, at Fern Hill Cemetery in Menlo. A gathering will be held afterwards at the Wildhaber Summer House in Raymond.
