Barbara A. Beals

Barbara Alice Beals, a longtime Hoquiam resident, died Tuesday, March 13, 2018, at Grays Harbor Community Hospital in Aberdeen. She was 82.

She worked for St. Joseph Hospital, Pacific Northwest Bell, at the National Bank of Commerce and as an aide and secretary at Lincoln Elementary School.

A private urn committal will be at Hoquiam’s Sunset Memorial Park.

The family suggests that memorial contributions be made to PAWS, P.O. Box 451, Aberdeen, WA 98520.

Arrangements are by Coleman Mortuary in Hoquiam.

LAKEWOOD — Robert Earl Kemplin of Aberdeen died Monday, March 5, 2018, at American Lake Veterans Hospital in Lakewood. He was 97.

A celebration of his life with military honors will be held at 11 a.m. at Central Park Neighborhood Church. A potluck reception will follow.

A celebration of life and potluck for Robert Charles Crumpacker of Ocean Shores, who died March 13, at home, will take place at 1 p.m. Saturday, March 24, at the North Beach Eagles in Ocean Shores.

SEATTLE — Hoquiam resident Wade Loren Jessee died Thursday, March 8, 2018, at Swedish Medical Center in Seattle. He was 66.

Earl G. Matthews Jr.

Aberdeen resident Earl Glen Matthews Jr. died Monday, March 12, 2018, at home. He was 70.

A finger food potluck and celebration of his life will be held from 3 to 5 p.m. Saturday, March 31, at Riverside Shoppes in a room near center stage.

Jonathan M. Jack Sr.

VANCOUVER, Wash. — Jonathan Marsalle Jack Sr. of Oakville, died Tuesday, March 13, 2018, at Peace House Southwest Medical Center in Vancouver, Washington. He 63.

He sold fireworks on the Chehalis Reservation and was a commercial fisherman.

An Indian Shaker service will be at 10 this morning at the Oakville Shaker Church. Interment will be at the Chehalis Tribal Cemetery in Oakville.

ELMA — Dana Leneye Jernigan, 47, died Monday, March 12, 2018, at home.
