PACIFIC BEACH — Dr. Barbara Jo (Lefler) Givens of Pacific Beach died Friday, Jan. 26, 2018, at home. She was 59.

Silas Richard Telander of Ocean Shores died Friday, Jan. 26, 2018, at Grays Harbor Community Hospital in Aberdeen. He was 82.

No formal services will be held.

George Michael Rabideau of Aberdeen died Sunday, Jan. 28, 2018, at home. He was 64.

Rose I. Thomas

SEATTLE — Rose Irene Thomas, a longtime resident of Hoquiam, died Friday, Jan. 26, 2018, at Virginia Mason Medical Center in Seattle. She was 90.

She worked as a riveter making tail sections for B-29s for the Boeing Company in their 7th Street location, at Grays Harbor Chair and latter taught at McDermoth Elementary in Aberdeen, at an Air Force Base in Thailand and in Bridgeport.

Visitation will be at the Coleman Mortuary in Hoquiam from 1 to 4 p.m. Saturday and Sunday and 9:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Monday. A chapel service will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, also at Coleman’s.
