OLYMPIA — Ocean Shores resident James Wesley Mitchell died Sunday, June 18, 2017, at Providence St. Peter Hospital in Olympia. He was 79.

Services are being planned and will be announced as soon as details become available.

Visitation for Cosmopolis resident Dennis Merle Broten, who died June 14, at Virginia Mason Hospital inSeattle, will be from 1 to 7 p.m. Thursday at Harrison Family Mortuary in Aberdeen. A graveside service will beheld at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Fern Hill Cemetery in Aberdeen followed by a celebration of his life at theAberdeen Elks Lodge.
