Carole Sandstrom, Hannah Endresen, Gerald Moore, Charles “Chip” McBride

Carole V. Sandstrom

Carole Virginia Sandstrom, a lifetime resident of Hoquiam, died Sunday, Jan. 21, 2018, at Grays Harbor Community Hospital in Aberdeen. She was 83.

She worked at O’Conner’s Clothing Store and later operated Carole’s Young Things until retiring in 2002.

Memorials can be made to the Saron Lutheran Memorial Fund or Relay for Life team of Saron Lutheran at P.O. Box 517, Hoquiam, WA 98550.

A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday at Saron Lutheran Church.

Cremation arrangements are by the Coleman Mortuary of Hoquiam.

Hannah C. Endresen

Hoquiam resident Hannah Claire Endresen died Thursday, Jan. 18, 2018, at Montesano Health & Rehab Center. She was 91.

After graduating from Hoquiam High School in 1944, she moved to Salem, Oregon.

A service is pending and will be announced in a later edition of The Daily World.

Cremation arrangements are by the Coleman Mortuary of Hoquiam.

Gerald L. Moore

Gerald Lee Moore died Sunday, Jan. 21, 2018, at his Aberdeen home. He was 86.

No formal services will be held.

Arrangements are by Harrison Family Mortuary.

Charles M. “Chip” McBride

SHELTON — Ocean City resident Charles Michael “Chip” McBride died Sunday, Jan. 21, 2018, at Fir Lane Health and Rehabilitation Center in Shelton. He was 61.

He worked for the Quinault Indian Nation as a forester and in wildlife management.

A funeral will be held at 1 p.m. Monday at the Coleman Mortuary in Hoquiam. Interment will follow at Hoquiam’s Sunset Memorial Park.
