Dallas Carol Ling, 85, Aberdeen resident and former executive secretary for Anderson Middleton Lumber Co., died Saturday, July 7, 2018, at Grays Harbor Community Hospital in Aberdeen, Wash.

Dallas was born on June 24, 1933, in Aberdeen to Joseph H. and Ruth L. (Lindsey) Vanucie. She graduated from Weatherwax High School.

Dallas married Jack Donald Ling on Dec. 16, 1954, in Montesano, Wash. He died on Aug. 27, 1992.

She was the Executive Secretary for Anderson Middleton Lumber Co. in Hoquiam, Wash. She enjoyed camping and watching the Mariners.

She is survived by two sons: Mike Ling of Auburn and Don Ling of Aberdeen; a granddaughter Kelsie Ling of Auburn and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a brother Donald E. Vanucie.

She will be inurned with her husband at Fern Hill Cemetery in Aberdeen, Wash.

Cremation arrangements are entrusted to Twibell’s Fern Hill Funeral Home in Aberdeen, Wash.
