Cole Allen Hendrickson of Elma passed away Thursday, July 12, 2018, while swimming across the Chehalis River. Cole was born April 18, 2000, in Olympia, Wash., to Cindy Johnson and Earl Hendrickson.

Cole was raised in Elma and graduated from Elma High School class of 2018. He enjoyed poetry, choir, school plays, nature and attending Northwest Life Center in Elma.

Cole is survived by his mother, Cindy Johnson of Elma; father Earl Hendrickson of Quinault; his sister Andrea James of Elma; nephew Nehemiah; grandparents Robert and Teresa Johnson; numerous aunts, uncles and so many other loving family members.

A celebration of life for Cole is planned for 3 p.m., Saturday, Aug. 4, at the Elma High School Commons.
