Carolyn Joyce (McGahuey) Clough passed away on April 7, 2017, in Raymond, Wash.

Carolyn Joyce (McGahuey) Clough passed away on April 7, 2017, in Raymond, Wash. She was born Aug. 31, 1934, in Aberdeen, Wash. She lived a full life in various places such as, Montesano, Aberdeen, Vancouver and Friday Harbor, Wash.; Portland and Oregon City, Ore.

She enjoyed her time knitting, crocheting, and sewing, resulting in beautiful quilts. She loved to read books and was never without a book on her nightstand. She had a love for pigs and her collection of piggy items showed it.

Aunt Sis had no children but she was blessed with numerous nieces and nephews and was not afraid to discipline with a firm hand. She is preceded in death by her mother Adeline A. (Tanner) McGahuey, her father Leonard C. McGahuey, and her brother Stanley Alton McGahuey. She is survived by her sisters, Kennalee Bennett, Frances Nile, Lorna Teraghouci and Kerry Rabago.

Aunt Sis, will be deeply missed by all of us, her family, friends, and others who knew her. It is never good-bye, Aunt Sis because it won’t be long until we see you again with tremendous joy in Heaven.

A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, April 22, 2017, at St. Mary of the Valley, 601 W. Columbia St., Monroe, WA. Friends and family are welcome to attend.
