Beverly Jean Thompson of Lacey, Wash. and formerly of Elma, Wash., passed away peacefully in her sleep on Jan. 12, 2018, at age 84. She was married to James W. Thompson II for 58 years.

Beverly was preceded in death by her husband (2014); parents, Henry and Lydia Kukes; siblings, Gary Kukes and Jerry Kukes; and grandson, James W. Thompson IV. She is survived by her children, Darci Palmer, Connie Hull, James Thompson III; grandchildren, Jason Palmer, Leslie Palmer, Francesca Vaughan, Isabella Hull; her nieces she raised, Destiny and Darcey Kukes; great-grandchildren, Hunter, Violette, Arianna and Nadia; and sister, Delores Yates.

A celebration of life will be held Saturday, Jan. 27, 2018, 1 p.m. at the Laurel Oaks Clubhouse, 1800 Marvin Rd. SE, Lacey, WA 98503.
