Betty went to be with the Lord while in Aberdeen Community Hospital, where she received excellent care. She is preceded in death by husbands Robert Higgins and Carl McClain; sons Ron McClain, Dennis McClain, Steve McClain; daughter Michele (Higgins) Lake; and sister Bonnie Simpson of California. She is survived by sons Donald McClain of Edgewood Wash., Bradley McClain of Aberdeen Wash.; three sisters, Margarette Nease of Lewisburg, Penn., Ruth Dorsett of Everett, Wash., Agnes Marx of Wichita, Kan., Ruth Dorsett of Everett, Wash.; and a brother Frank Douglass Jr. of Tulsa, Okla. Betty has 23 grandchildren and 25 great-grandchildren.

Memorial services will be held Feb 17, 2018, at 1:30 p.m. at Landmark Apostolic Church, 117 S. 3rd St. Montesano, WA 98563. Pastor David Graves officiating. Memorial donations may be sent to the Apostolic Church. Mother thank you for making sure we all knew who Jesus is and His love. You will be missed.
