Transient turns himself in after breaking Aberdeen City Hall door

A transient known to Aberdeen Police turned himself in after breaking a glass door at the Market Street entrance to the Aberdeen City Hall Saturday night.

“On the 15th at 10:34 p.m. officers got a call from the suspect, a 51-year-old Aberdeen transient,” said Lt. Dale Green. “He was taken into custody and charged with third-degree malicious mischief.”

Green said the man has a history of breaking windows in the downtown area, then turning himself in to police.
