Timberland Regional Libraries to take comments on 2020-22 strategic plan in Hoquiam

The Timberland Regional Library System will hold a community meeting at the Hoquiam Library at 6 p.m. Wednesday to take input on its draft 2020-22 strategic plan.

The plan will set the direction in the coming years for the Timberland Regional Library System, which includes the Hoquiam, Aberdeen, Montesano, Amanda Park, Elma, McCleary, Oakville and Westport libraries. Public comment is welcome on the draft plan during this event.

A version of the 2019 action plan, which serves as a transition between the completed 2014-18 plan and the 2020-22 draft, is available online at content.trl.org/2019%20Action%20Plan.pdf.

The meeting will run from 6 to 7 p.m. at the Hoquiam Timberland Library, 420 Seventh St. For more information contact the the TRL Service Center at 360-704-4636, or the library at 360-532-1710.

An opportunity for Pacific County residents to comment on the plan in person is scheduled for 6 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 27, at the Ilwaco Timberland Library, 158 First Ave. N. in Ilwaco.
