Temporary closures coming next week to 3rd Street in McCleary

Paving part of fish passage work being done on two forks of Wildcat Creek

Washington State Department of Transportation maintenance crews will temporarily close South Third Street between State Route 108 and Mox Chehalis Road in downtown McCleary starting Monday, May 14, to crack-seal and repair pavement as part of the State Route 8 Middle and East Forks Wildcat Creek project.

According to a department statement, flaggers and pilot car operators will control one-way alternating traffic between 7 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. daily. Weather permitting, work will occur each weekday through Thursday, May 17. Travelers are advised to expect delays.
