Raymond man injured in one-car wreck north of Raymond

A 66-year-old Raymond man was injured Thursday when the van he was driving left the roadway and struck a ditch on Highway 101 about 12 miles north of Raymond, according to a Washington State Patrol report.

The vehicle was northbound around 5:30 a.m. when it crossed the center line near milepost 71, left the roadway to the left and struck the southbound ditch, according to the report.

The driver was transported to Grays Harbor Community Hospital with undisclosed injuries. The 2002 Chevrolet Venture was totaled. The State Patrol has initially determined the cause of the crash as driving too fast for the conditions.
