Police looking for driver who hit a pedestrian

The search is on for driver in fleeing vehicle

Aberdeen Police are on the lookout for a driver involved in a pedestrian hit and run accident in the 100 block of N. Lincoln Street early Thursday morning.

The 36-year-old victim said he believed the person at the wheel of the small white passenger car was a young female, and that the vehicle was occupied with two or three male passengers.

A witness to the incident told police the victim was in a verbal altercation with the occupants of the car before it sped off.

The victim was treated on the scene by the Aberdeen Fire Department for an injury to his left leg that required him to be transported to the Grays Harbor Community Hospital. The fleeing vehicle has not been located at this time.
