Hoquiam teachers, school district reach tentative contract agreement

A tentative agreement has been reached in contract negotiations between the Hoquiam School District and the Hoquiam Teachers Association.

“We have a reached a tentative agreement on a 2-year contract,” said Hoquiam School Superintendent Mike Villarreal Friday. “Details will come after ratification takes place from the union leadership.”

The union is likely to vote on ratification next week.
