Gingerbread competition and other Saturday events

Aberdeen, Winterfest

St. Andrews Episcopal Church will have Breakfast with Santa from 9 to 11 a.m. today, with a free meal provided by the Aberdeen Lions. The food is free for children through sixth grade, and older participants will be asked for donations to the Grays Harbor Community Hospital Foundation.

The Holiday Market runs today from 10 a.m to 3 p.m. inside the old Goldberg’s Furniture building at 117 W. Wishkah. Gingerbread house entries will be on display at the D&R Event Center during the same hours. Activities at the Historical Seaport will begin at 1 p.m.

Ho Ho Hoquiam

The 7th Street Theatre will give out free hot chocolate starting at 4 p.m. Saturday, and will give away ballots for the Festival of Trees competition. The ballots are due at the theater by 7 p.m. Turning in a ballot will score you a free Christmas ornament. The Grays Harbor Santa, aka the Harley-Riding Santa, will be at the theater from 5 to 6 p.m. for photos.

The Christmas classic “National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation” will play at the theater at 7:30 p.m.

Westport, Santa by the Sea

Santa by the Sea and the Christmas Bazaar will take place at the Westport Maritime Museum starting at 10:30 a.m.. There will be a variety of crafts and holiday items, as well as hot chocolate and a bake sale.
