TIPS FOR SEARCHING BY KEYWORD:
When entering a multi-word topic or name, better results are returned by using quotes. Example: "John Doe" will return only the full phrase, not all articles containing John and Doe.

When looking for a broad topic, narrowing your search with the use of the word AND will return better results. Example: "Hoquiam" and "hospital."

Entering a Publication date range of less than 6-month intervals will return results quicker than searching the entire database of more than 100,000 articles. Example: enter 01-01-2003 through 06-30-2003

If you still can't find your story, realize that The Daily WORLD does not include in its archives stories purchased from media outlets, such as the AP, so if you're looking for a story with a byline other than a DAILY WORLD staffer, it may not be in our library.
