Winter Wine Festival going on Saturday in Elma

The event, presented by the Elma Chamber of Commerce, is only for people 21 and older.

The 12th annual Elma Winter Wine Festival is going on today from noon to 9 p.m. at the Grays Harbor County Fair & Event Center in Elma.

The event, presented by the Elma Chamber of Commerce, is only for people 21 and older. It includes wine tastings and sales, a beer garden, food booths, gift and merchandise booths, a silent auction and live entertainment all afternoon.

More than 20 Washington state wineries will be participating.

Ken Albert and Christine Hill will begin performing at 1 p.m. in the courtyard area, where seating will be available.

On the stage indoors, entertainment kicks off at 1 p.m. with Caryn Hart, who has family ties in Grays Harbor and now lives in Portland, Oregon. Six Pack Pretty, a local Harbor band performing 1970s through current music, will take the stage at 4 p.m., followed by Infinity Project, a Journey tribute band, at 7:30 p.m.

Tickets are $10 at the door, or $20 for the wine tasting package. That package includes entry plus a keepsake wine glass and five wine tasting tickets. Valid photo ID will be required for entry.

A shuttle will run at regular intervals between the Elma Chamber of Commerce, Stay Beyond Inn & Suites, and Elma RV Park.
