The Ocean Shores Municipal Airport will host a commercial fireworks demonstration at 7 p.m. on Sunday.

The show, which is open to the public, will be presented by Jake’s Fireworks of Winlock and Cutting Edge Fireworks as a way to showcase their products for prospective commercial customers.

“Cutting Edge is a brand that was developed in 2009 as a bulk container offering of Jake’s Fireworks as a part of our import program,” acccording to the Cutting Edge website. “This product line is exclusive to Jake’s Fireworks and can only be bought through us.”

Ocean Shores Mayor Crystal Dingler said the show is expected to last 2.5 hours. The city initially announced that the show would be on Saturday, but it will be on Sunday night.

“They are actually demonstrating fireworks to their customers, and they are paying us for the privilege to be there and we get to enjoy it,” Dingler told the City Council during a meeting last week.

Jake’s and Cutting Edge also handled the fireworks show for the Hawks Fan Fest in Ocean Shores last year.
