Volunteers are needed for a Grayland Community Hall work party on Sunday afternoon.

The South Beach Park & Recreation District board will provide the tools and paint for participants to help clean and freshen up the historic venue for 2019’s activities. Activities will begin at 1 p.m.

“You will be greeted with light refreshments and grateful hearts,” says Community Hall director Carolyn Barker.

Those grateful hearts also include board members Kevin Goodrich, Mike Reichenberger, Tanya Lana, Jim White, Julie Smith and Ron Barker.

Carolyn Barker notes that the property is owned by the community and is available for meetings, festivals, weddings, school dances, campouts, theater presentations, concerts and private parties.

The hall is located at 2071 Cranberry Road in Grayland, just off State Route 105.

For more information, contact her at 360-580-1803.

“We look forward to a great community effort in doing this facelift for your hall,” she says.
