Christmas celebration coming to Grayland Community Hall

The Grayland Community Hall will again celebrate the season with a variety show at 2 p.m. on Dec. 22, which will be followed with a caroling hay ride. The theme of the event is “A Visit to the North Pole’s Barnyard.”

The program will includes live music by The Twin Harbor Lutheran Church’s Chime Choir, musical performances by local artists, dancers from Walsh Dance and Carolyn Barker as Mrs, Santa tending to Santa’s Barnyard. She will be joined by several local children in song.

Refreshments of gingerbread and holiday cookies, spiced cider or juice will be served.

Santa is set to arrive with gifts and goodies just prior to boarding of the hayride. Rides will be approx 15 to 20 minutes each. Good voices not a necessity. Dress warm. Bring bells. Approximate time of first ride is 3:45 p.m. Admission for event $2 per person. There will also be a collection box for non-perishable foods donations for the local food bank.
