Amateur radio classes start at 6 p.m., Monday, Jan. 20, at Shoppes at Riverside in space 106, near the center of the mall.

Technician and general class written material will be taught, and the classes will continue until all material has been covered — usually five to six Mondays.

You are not required to attend all of the classes, although it is recommended. There will be a final test.
