Boen, a 1-year-old heeler/border collie mix, came to PAWS as a stray.

Boen is a happy boy who loves treats. He will do best in a home with an active family. He likes other dogs, but would prefer no cats in his new home.

Boen is available for adoption through PAWS of Grays Harbor, 800 W. First St., Aberdeen. His fee is $250, which covers his first year of vaccines, deworming, flea treatment and neutering.

PAWS is open Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Saturdays from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., and Thursdays from 2 to 6 p.m. You can also visit PAWS online at www.pawsgh.org, find them on Facebook or call 360-533-1141. Adopters who are 55 and older receive a 20 percent discount on adoption fees.
