To Pacific County Voters,

As a young man I made an awful mistake and years later had no idea how to finally get fully beyond that part of my life. Help came from an unexpected person, our prosecutor, Mark McClain.

While he could not serve as my attorney, he took the time to show me how to find the forms I needed, where and what to file, and what to do and say when I went to the clerk and later the court. I felt bad when I had to come back a few times with more questions but there he was willing to help.

He is more than just a guy that sends the bad guys to prison. He also helps those who have paid their debt to society and moved beyond youthful mistakes. Selfless acts of kindness too often go unnoticed, but I knew this man to be someone who lives up to his reputation as a tough but fair prosecutor.
