Downtown needs a scrubbing

Gateway Center not top priority

I was just reading The Daily World’s Oct. 20 article about the Gateway Plaza building and what it is going to cost and what it will be used for.

It might be good for Aberdeen but what about how the rest of the buildings along the streets on both sides look like? Those buildings need to be power washed, repaired and painted.

They have been like this for a long time.

Wouldn’t it be worth it to fix those up before anything new is added? It would really make a difference in the whole look of the downtown to have those storefronts looking nice.

I agree that we need something to bring people here and have them stop on their way through.
