Daily World A&E editor Nate Whorton was never an average kid. While other 8-year-olds doodled stick figures with No. 2 pencils, Whorton was taking art lessons from a disabled South Aberdeen woman, mesmerized by her knowledge of pastels, oils, charcoals and watercolors.
